Choose Joy Over Everything

My motto, "Choose Joy" is inspired by the Bible. Joy is one of the fruits of the Spirit and can only come from God. Happiness can be fleeting, but one can be joyful even in hardship because it is a gift from God. It is the assurance that He is in control and that ultimately everything will be alright, that we can praise God even during the darkest seasons of life. This confidence has been something I've held onto especially throughout the past few years, and it's helped me get through the most difficult times of my life.
